Thommy Fagerlund

Artist and producer.

Thommy Henrik Gustav Fagerlund, born September 28, 1974 in Helsinki, is a Finland-Swedish artist and producer. During his youth, Fagerlund was a member of the band Daizy & Gänget, who toured with their clubshows and made a CD named "Vi brinner" in 1995. The main track of the CD was the song "Se på mig", which turned out to be a radio hit for several months.

Fagerlund worked onboard Finnish cruising ships between 1996 and 2003. He then became active in writing his own songs and made some recordings. He also took part in the Finnish music competitions "Suomen Tähti" and "Guld Micken".

From 2003 to 2006 Fagerlund worked abroad in Mallorca and Rhodes as a show artist for the Swedish travel company Sunwing.

In 2008 Thommy Fagerlund returned to work as a cruise host for Viking Line, also performing Finnish dance band music onboard. Fagerlund produces shows for Viking Line.

In 2011, Fagerlund started collaborating with the Finnish pop princess of the 80's, Anja Niskanen. He has composed and produced several of her songs.

In 2020 he started working in the studio with his own material and a new album is now under production, the single Sut voimaksi sain released May 24 2020. He works together with the producer Petri Kokko, among others. The song “Vem är du, vem är jag”, is written by Tony Haglund, a member of the Swedish pop group Friends, who has participated in both Melodifestivalen and Eurovision Song Contest. Thommy working together with Sam Sonntag from record company Colla records.
